Hayling Island

For a new £2.7 million luxury apartment complex on the seafront at Hayling Island, the architectural detailing had to be of an exceptionally high standard. To ensure this development had the kerb appeal befitting of a high quality new development, main contractor Moor Construction worked with ICB (Fabrications) Ltd  on a bespoke and durable design for the fascias, soffits, guttering and downpipes. This is a typical example of a project which involved ICB (Fabrications) Ltd.

With the building exposed to the extremes of the coastal climate, it was essential that the aluminium detailing was not only aesthetically pleasing but was also designed to offer optimum performance.

‘We have worked with ICB (Fabrications) Ltd on a number of projects and have been impressed with the high standard of their work,' commented Richard Lundbech of Moor Construction. ‘They helped with the design and did all the fabrication for the fascia, soffit, gutter and downpipes and cover plate details. Their fabrication times were extremely quick which is very important when working to deadlines.'

Following a rigorous pre-treatment process to ensure the fabricated aluminium was in prime condition, ICB (Fabrications) Ltd powder coated the aluminium with a dark grey RAL 7025 to provide a vibrant and durable finish which is guaranteed for ten years.

ICB (Fabrications) Ltd have one of the most advanced production units of its kind in the UK, featuring the very latest plant and machinery capable of producing a wide range of bespoke construction components in metal.
